Sparkle Lee...
The creation of Miss' Sparkle Lee came about as an accident. I was asked one night by a very close friend, after a singing gig, "do you fancy helping me out with a comedy drag show", I immediatly thought, 'Jesus what the hell is that'. Now here I am 4 years later with several different shows on the road and quite a big following doing it along the way. I could have never made it without the support off the people that have given me so much along the way. Their honesty and backing has helped me create what I could have only dreamed of as a child.
The main thing like any job is, it's a job and to keep both feet on the soil. People ask me every day, why do want to be a drag queen? Well to answer that, Drag is an incredible amount of fun and an extension of who I am. It is a combination of my personality, atitude, passion for the arts and entertainment Industary and beliefs.
I suppose simply it's who I am on stage and what I do, not what I am.
The ideas I have created and found over the years have all developed into different creations and charactors in my show at some point, many of these ideas came from you guys, the audience. Others have come at the strangest times in my life and the strangest of places. I suppose being an artist thats what we hope for.
My show is a mime sketch show and follows in suit I suppose to programmes such as Little Britain, French and Saunders and other impression shows.
My mother always told me ´ever since you were a kid you´ve always dressed up and loved entertaining´. I thank my lucky stars I have the oppitunity to do what I love in life.
There is no better feeling than laughter.

I need to thank several people who have helped get me to where I am today. These people have been there for me over the years on a mentle support level and critical level, these people have also given me the power to stand on that stage at every performance infront of the Bull.
